This architecture assignment was very free: choose a chair and design a table to go with it on a scale of 1:3. I selected the Eames chair and wanted to counter the industrial look with a nature-inspired table. I love deep sea diving and wanted to incorporate that influence. I started playing around with small concepts of rope and glue and decided to create a large version based on sisal rope, glue and epoxy resin.
